Summer Peach Margaritas

As I work on cooking and freezing the last of this year's peach harvest, I thought I'd whip up a fruity cocktail to enjoy on the porch while watching the sunset. This recipe is a light, not too sweet version of a margarita. Adding a teaspoon of superfine sugar to the puree would sweeten it up a bit, as would serving it in a glass rimmed with sugar.
Summer Peach Margarita

1 medium peach, peeled and cut into chunks
1 ½ oz. tequila
¾ oz. triple sec
½ oz. peach schnapps
2 oz. orange juice
1 cup crushed ice

Place peach chunks in a blender and puree. Add liquids and ice. Blend until smooth. Pour into glass, garnish with peach slices, and enjoy.
Hugs and blessings~
